The All Progressives Congress has dismissed the allegation making rounds that the party and its National Chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomole is responsible for the drama that rocked the National Assembly in which security operatives blocked the entrance to the complex.

Yekini Nabena, acting National Publicity Secretary of APC, who said the party is monitoring the development at the National Assembly like every other concerned Nigerian decried attempt to blame  the development on his boss.

He said that there’s no basis to link Adams Oshiomhole with what he said is strictly legislative business.

Our attention has been drawn to mischievous attempts in some partisan quarters to link developments at NASS to the National Chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole.

“While the Party is monitoring the developments at NASS like every concerned Nigerian and stakeholder, there is absolutely no basis for the false allegations and attempt to blame the National Chairman for the development there. It is strictly a legislative matter,” the APC stated.
