Court Restrains Oshiomole From Dissolving Kwara APC

A high court sitting in Ilorin has barred the Comrade Adams Oshiomole led national leadership of the All Progressives Congress and the National Working Committee of the party from sacking the state executive committee in Kwara state.

The court ruling follows an action instituted by Abdulwahab Bamidele, counsel to the APC chairman and secretary in the state.

Justice Umar granted the application after hearing the submission of the lawyer.

The claimants had dragged the national chairman of the APC , Adams Oshiomhole and five others before the court over their decision to sack the Kwara APC executive committee.

Naija News recalls that following the defection of Senator Bukola Saraki, Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed and other politicians in Kwara state to the PDP, the National Leadership of the APC, moved to dissolve the Kwara state executives led by Alh. Balogun Fulani for anti-party activities.

The APC national leadership, also handed over the state to a caretaker committee led by Alh. Bashir Bolarinwa Bello.
