Dickson Slammed Over Frequent Trips By APC Chieftain

Bayelsa state governor, Seriake-Dickson

Dickson Accused Of Wasting State Funds On Travelling

An All Progressives Congress, APC, chieftain, Chief Perekeme Kpodoh, in Bayelsa State has rebuked the State governor, Mr Seriake Dickson over his frequent trips outside the state, stating that it is wasteful and not good enough for good governance of the state.

Chief Kpodo, said although the governor needs to partner investors and politicians for the good of the state, the recent trips has not brought investors or partners, but rather left the state in confusion and government activities dead.

Kpodoh, who is a chieftain of APC in Sagbama Local Government Area of the state and former Security Adviser to the state governor, in statement said that the decision of the state governor to abandon the state and junket outside showed that he has lost touch with realities of governance.

According to him, “These frequent travels are without benefits. We can count how many days he has travelled. Many issues need attention in Bayelsa. Look at the Isaac Boroh expressway project, is that the way Julius Berger works? It is poor and slow, it is becoming a death trap at night for residents driving along that way.”
