Buhari In A Closed Door Meeting With Three APC Governors

President Muhammadu Buhari and three state governors, elected under the umbrella of ruling All Progressive Congress, (APC) are currently in a meeting.

Report has it that the meeting between the President and the Governors is holding at the President’s office at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The state Governors in attendance are Abdulaziz Yari of Zamfara State, Abubakar Badaru of Jigawa State and Abubakar Bagudu of Kebbi State.

The meeting is holding barely 24hours after some aggrieved members of the APC formed a new faction, the Reformed All Progressives Congress.

The three governors elected under the umbrella of the All Progressive Congress refused to disclose the aim of the meeting to newsmen.

The governors were led to the President’s office for the meeting by the Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari and there after the meeting ushered them out of the venue of the meeting.

When reporters pushed further to know if the meeting was about the factionalisation of the party, Yari simply replied, “It was a private business. It had nothing to do with the APC.

Alhaji Buba Galadima, from Gashua, Yobe State, and former secretary of the defunct Congress for Progressive Change was introduced as the National Chairman of the RAPC on Wednesday.
