Fans Lift Mikel Obi On Their Twitter Shoulder
Fans have taken to twitter to express delight, pride and support for Super Eagle’s captain, Mikel Obi following the incidents of his father’s kidnap during the world cup tournament.
Naija News recalls that the Enugu Police had successfully rescued the player’s father, Micheal Obi, on Monday 2nd July after being kidnapped with his driver on the 29th of June.
While some fans have expressed love for Mikel’s heroic act of leading the Super Eagles while his father had disappeared, some have clearly stated that the Super Eagles’ captain is a proof that Nigeria youths are not lazy.
