The Accused HAs Been Sentenced To 25 Years In Jail

A 32 years old man from Bazha village in the Matobo District of Zimbabwe, Steven Tshuma, has stabbed his uncle, identified as Pedzisai Mpofu, to death for allegedly boasting to have had affair with his wife, Sinikiwe Moyo.

According to iHarare, Tshuma walked into Zamangothando Bottle Store at Bazha Business Center around 5pm where Mpofu was drinking beer and confronted him about the rumours.

The move by Tshuma led to a misunderstanding between them leading him to pull out a knife from his trouser and stabbing Mpofu once in the back and neck.

Mpofu bled profusely and died before he could be rushed to the hospital, a report was made to the police leading to Tshuma’s arrest.

The accused has been sentenced to 25 years in jail.
