Ras Kimono Set For Burial August 25

The family of legendary reggae artist, Ras Kimono, whose real name is Ukeleke Onwubya, have announced the date for the late singer’s burial.

According to a familiy statement made available to newsmen, his burial ceremony has been scheduled for August 25, 2018 while details of other events would be made public in due course.

“We wish to inform the general public that the Burial Ceremony for late Ras Kimono has been slated for the 25th day of August, 2018.

“The program of the events leading to the funeral will be made available in due course.

“We wish to thank everyone who has individually and collectively supported us during these trying times and we pray the Almighty God to guide and protect us all,” the statement reads.

Naija News recalls Ras Kimono died in an Ikoyi hospital on June 10, 2018 where he was rushed to after he slumped.
