Zimbabwe To Hold First Election In A Long While On July 30

Fifty women in Zimbabwe has been promised an opening of bank accounts by a politician, in a bid to get support in the upcoming election in the country.

Campion Mugweni, who is a member of the ZANU PF is seeking the support of the electorate to represent Mazowe North as a Member of Parliament.

The politian stated that he will open the bank accounts for women in the Bare Growth point community as an empowerment after the opening of the Women’s Micro-Financing Bank by president Emmerson Mnangagwa recently, reports Bulawayo 24.

Mugweni, while speaking in the community said his main target was the community and not the ZANU PF electorate.

“I am now hitting the ground as an MP hence I am specialising on the development of the constituency, not ZANU PF electorate only because it is not a secret that people are looking for people who deliver and I am one hence I am going to win,” said the confident Mugweni.

Zimbabwe will hold its first election in years on 30th July 2018.
