DSS Arrests Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe

Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, the lawmaker representing Abia-South Senatorial District, has been reported arrested by the Department of State Security.

Report had it that the Senator Abaribe was picked up on Friday morning at a popular hotel located at Maitama District in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.

A source close to Abaribe said his arrest may also not be unconnected with his constant criticism of the President Muhammadu Buhari administration.

DSS  are yet to confirm Abaribe’s arrest but the Abia-South senator is understood to have been under the watch of the DSS since he stood surety for the leader of the now outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu.
