The Benue State’s Military Operation code named: ‘Operation Whirl Storm (OPWS)’, has revealed that its operation that cut across Benue and Nasarawa States has ensured the arrest of the suspected killer of Denen Igbana an aide to Governor Samuel Ortom, in 2016.

OPWS also disclosed that during the airstrike code named: ‘Operation Dark Down and Operation Deadly Strike’, the force bombed some strategic targets in some places in the two states.

Major General Adeyemi Yekini, the Force Commander, OPWS made this known during his interactions with newsmen in Makurdi, the Benue State capital.

Naija News recalls that unknown gunmen on Friday, 20th of May, 2016 shot and killed the Senior Special Assistant on Special Security to Ortom.
