2018 Budget To Be Signed Into Law Tommorow

President Muhammadu Buhari will sign the 2018 budget into law on Wednesday, 20th June, 2018 by 12:00pm, Naija News can authoritatively report.

This follows a confirmation of the development on Tuesday by Mr. Femi Adesina, special adviser, media and publicity to the President.

The statement further revealed that the weekly Federal Executive Council meeting would not hold tomorrow due to the sallah holidays which affected preparations.

The statement reads:

“President Muhammadu Buhari will sign the 2018 Appropriation Bill into law Wednesday at noon (12pm).”

“Meanwhile, the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting will not hold tomorrow, Wednesday, June 20, 2018.”

“This is due to the Eid-el-Fitr holidays last Friday and yesterday, which affected preparation of Council memoranda.”

The National Assembly recently passed the 2018 budget, about six months after it was presented to the lawmakers by the President.
