Kane Signs New Tottenham Deal

England striker, Harry Kane has put to bed, several rumours linking him with a move away from Tottenham after signing a new deal on Friday which will keep him at the club till 2024.

The player signed a six-year deal as confirmed on the club’s website.

Many clubs including Spanish giants, Real Madrid and Barcelona were said to interested in the England captain’s signature but such teams would now be forced to look elsewhere for their targets.

Kane, who is part of the England team as captain to the Russia 2018 World cup, scored 41 goals in 48 appearances for Tottenham in the just concluded 2017/2018 season.

Tottenham would be playing Champions League football next season after the club finished in 3rd position with 77 points in the last season to book a place among Europe’s elite.
