Buhari Condoles Family Of Late Chief (Mrs) Olakunri

President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday, sent condolences to the family of Nigeria’s first female chartered accountant, and a former President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Chief (Mrs) Olutoyin Olusola Olakunri, who died on Sunday.

In a statement made available to Naija News by Mallam Garba Shehu, media aide to the President, he commiserated with ICAN and all the professional colleagues of the brilliant accountant and entrepreneur who served the country in many capacities, providing visionary leadership and invaluable counsel to governments.

The President believes Chief Olakunri lived her life in service of God and humanity, commending her leading role in encouraging women to study and acquire skills, pursue professional careers and start generational businesses that can support their families, employ people and further strengthen the society.

President Buhari while comforting the family she left behind, prays that the almighty God will receive the soul of the departed, and grant her eternal rest.

Recall Naija News earlier published news of the passing away of Chief (Mrs) Olakunri after she slumped during church service on Sunday.
