Chidogo Akunyili Speaks On Her Wedding Gown

Chidogo Akunyili, the daughter of the late NAFDAC boss Dora Akunyili, over the weekend, tied the knot with her love, Andrew Parr, in her hometown in Anambra State.

The ceremonies was attended by friends and families of both couple, and shortly after, Chidogo took to her Instagram to share details about her dress, how she wanted it to have a bit of an “African touch.”

“Thank you @wangerayu for making this dream of a dress come to life,” she began in the post, adding, “For as long as I can remember, I have wanted an African touch to my wedding dress. I approached a woman whose work I have admired for years.”

She continued, “We went back and forth, and after few months of deliberations, sketches, mock-ups, fittings, re-fitting, we both came out with a dress that brings a smile to my heart ❤ Can’t wait to share all the shades of this beautiful day with you. #chidandrew”
