President Buhari Presides Over Federal Executive Council Meeting

President Muhammadu Buhari is currently presiding over the federal executive council (FEC) meeting.

The meeting is holding in the presidential villa and is been well attended by cabinet ministers, SGF Boss Mustapha and other top FEC members.

Obviously missing is Vice President Yemi Osinbajo who Naija News can authoritatively report is currently in Nasarawa state where he will be interacting with internally displaced persons in the state.

Oro Community Disowns Arrested Offa Bank Robbery Suspect

The National President of Oro Community in Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State, Chief Bode Alayoku has said that it is a misleading report by the media to state that one Mr. Kunle Ogunleye, aka ‘Arrow,’ alleged to be the gang leaders of the robbers that attacked banks in Offa,  is a native of Oro community.

In a statement on Wednesday, Alayoku said Ogunleye is a native of Etan-Aiyegbaju in Ekiti State not Oro.

Only Lazy Nigerians Are Hungry Under Buhari Administration – Hameed Ali

Lazy Nigerians have been labelled as the only hungry ones under the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari, according to Hameed Ali, the Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service, in a statement on Tuesday.

The statement was made by the Custom boss while itemizing the achievements of the present administration in agriculture, alongside some members of the Buhari Support Organisation on a visit to the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The trail of Olisa Metuh, former National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has been ruled by the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, to continue in his absence.

In the ruling on Wednesday, Justice Okon Abang, said the court had the power to process with the trail in Metuh’s absence, in respect to the defendant’s previous attempts to stall the trail.
