Veteran actress and Nollywood star, Mercy Johnson’s mother died this morning after being in a coma for some days due to an undisclosed illness.

Johnson revealed the incident this morning through her Instagram account while pleading that the family would love to have some privacy during their trying times.

She said “It deeply saddens me to say that my beloved mother is gone, this is a trying time for my family and we would appreciate your prayers, even as we plead for our privacy at this time. Thank you”
