BREAKING: Ex-Air Force General Emerges Kaduna APC Chairman

Retired  Airforce General, Air Commodore Emmanuel Jekada from Zango Kataf of Kaduna state has been Elected as the new chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the state.
The newly elected chairman and 35 others were elected today in line with the National headquarters directives that all state congresses to elect party officials must hold on the 19th, May 2018.
The election which was held at Trade Fair complex, along Kaduna/Zaria road under a peaceful atmosphere saw the governor, Mallam Nasir el-Rufai arriving at the venue in the afternoon in company of top government officials.
It was gathered that delegates from 23 local government areas who took part in the election stormed the venue of the event as early as 8 am amid tight security.
The election which was through consensus saw the delegates unanimously affirming all the 36 names presented at the congress.
