Adeyeye Visits Amosun, Denies Plan To Join APC

The former governorship aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Prince Dayo Adeyeye has paid a private visit to Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun state, Naija News Understands.

According to report garthered from one of his aides on condition of anonymity, Adeyeye who lost the PDP ticket to Prof. Kolapo Olusola-Eleka might have discussed with the governor on the possibility of joining the All Progressives Congress ( APC) and collapsing his structures for Dr. Kayode Fayemi who emerged as the flag bearer of APC last Saturday.

Sources said he decided to visit Amosun who is one of the power brokers in the APC on the possibility of a compensation if he assists the APC to victory in the forthcoming governorship election in Ekiti state.
Adeyeye who confirmed the report to DAILY INDEPENDENT that he was in Abeokuta on a private visit but said he can never join the APC.

He said “Who told you that? Okay, Yes, i was in Abeokuta but it was a private visit. I will never join the APC. I have not decided on which party to join for now but definitely not APC” he said.
