APC Ekiti Primaries: 2,326 Delegates  Accredited Out Of 2,618 Delegate lists

The Chairman of the Ekiti All Progressive Congress Governorship Election Primary, Governor Tanko Al-Makura has  announced the accreditation of  2,326 delegates out  of the total of 2,618 delegate lists submitted to the committee.

This was as Former Governor of the old Ondo State, Bamidele Olumilua, and former governor, Niyi Adebayo, led other delegates as voting commenced in the states’ rescheduled governorship primary election.

Punch reports that Accreditation of delegates was stopped at exactly 12:25 pm while voting started at around 1:10 pm.

Gov Tanko  stated that voting will start with delegates from Ekiti South Senatorial District.

Naija News also learnt that the Commissioner of Police in Ekiti State, Ahmed Bello; Director of the Department of State Services Promise Iheanacho and the Commandant of NSCDC in the State, Donatus Ikemefuna and scores of security agents  all rallied round during the voting exercise.

Naija News recalls that the Ekiti Primaries was re -held  because of the disruption of which party members have sworn to disqualify aspirants who were found responsible of the disruption
