Hoodlums Burn Church, Police Station In Lagos

The Makoko of Lagos was thrown into panic today, after some area boys allegedly burnt a church and police station, leaving one person dead and five others critically injured.

The Area Boys were said to have attacked the community-based church,The Acts of Apostles Church, located on Church street, Ori-Oke-Oko Baba, Makoko, around 2pm, chased the members away and set it on fire, but some of the church youths were said to have retaliated.

Naija News learnt that worshippers who escaped fro m the church alerted the police for succour, some policemen were said to have gone to the scene which attracted the angry mob to the police station also.
