The Federal Executive Council on Wednesday directed the Ministry of Health to put all hands on deck in every part of the country to prevent the spread of Ebola to the country, following the outbreak of the virus in Democratic Republic of Congo.

Recall Naija News reported that two cases of the Ebola virus disease were confirmed by a lab report in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), according to a source from the Ministry of Health on Tuesday.

The Minister of Health, Prof. Isaac Adewole, disclosed this to State House correspondents at the end of the council’s meeting presided over by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
