Two Boys Rescue Their Pregnant Mum From Being Swept Off By Flood

The People of Kanya have had their heart touched by the story of how two boys from Murang’a county who saved their pregnant mother from a landslide.

A Facebook user, Thiong’O Irungu ManMan, who narrated said that the two boys rescued their pregnant mother from a landslide that occurred in their Gitugi village in Murang’a.

“ACT OF BRAVERY: When a landslide occurred in Gitugi village Muranga, the family of these boys was affected. As they moved to safety, they had to cross a swollen river. Their mother who is pregnant accidentally tripped and water swept her away.

“Helplessly, she waved her two boys as a sign that it was over. The two boys, barely 10, could not stand their mother drowning.

“My friend, Steve Njoro told me the boys followed her, running along the banks.

“Miraculously, they pulled her out and saved her from drowning. These are real heroes…” the Facebook user narrated.

From the pictures posted on Irungu’s Facebook page, the boys and their mother were rewarded with cash gifts.
