Arsene Wenger Side could not sustain their momentum and 1-0 lead against the 10 man Atletico Madrid team as  Diego Simeone side came from a goal down to go back to Spain with an away goal advantage in the Europa League Semi Final first leg match.

Even taking into account their 80-minute numerical advantage, this was one of Arsenal‘s best team displays of the campaign as a loud Emirates Stadium crowd saw Alexandre Lacazette head them in front following a largely-dominant hour of the tie.

With Arsenal diminishing display towards the end of the game, and the obvious defensive error by Wenger’s team,  Antoine Griezmann goal pulled Atletico Madrid out of an almost hopeless loss at the Emirate Staduim sealing a 1-1 Draw for the team.

Alexandre Lacazette, came through for the gunners in the 61 minute, when Wilshere played a lovely cross to the back post and Lacazette headed it down and in.

Antoine Griezmann, with is spectacle act on a rebound in the 82th minute gave Atletico a fight chance.
