Senate Unveil Thugs Behind Invasion of Plenary

Senator Ovie Omo-Agege who is currently serving a 90-days suspension has been alleged to be the brain behind the invasion of the Senate plenary this morning by persons suspected to be thugs, during which the mace was seized and taken away by the invaders.

Omo-Agege is currently on a 90-day suspension over his comment that the amendment to the Electoral Act 2010 to reorder the sequence of polls in a general election was targeted at President Muhammadu Buhari.
