President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to leave Nigeria for London on Monday, April 9, 2018, to commence his annual vacation, a source within the presidency has confirmed.

Policemen Feared Dead As Gunmen Attack Police Station
Two policemen are feared dead after gunmen, stormed the police station at Gegu village on Lokoja–Abuja road.
According to William Aya, spokesman of the Kogi state police command, “It is true that there was an attack today. We lost two officers,” he said.
He said the gunmen also injured one of the suspects in the cell.

Police To Arrest Melaye Again
The Nigeria Police Force has said it will arrest Dino Melaye, senator representing Kogi west, and four other suspects at the federal high court in Lokoja, Kogi state capital, on May 10.
The four suspects were rearrested for alleged conspiracy and unlawful possession of prohibited firearms.

Senator Mustapha Bukar Is Dead
Barely a week after the death of a member representing Lokoja/Kogi/Koton Karfe, Umar Buba Jibril, another Nigerian lawmaker, Senator Mustapha Bukar, has been reported dead.
Family sources said Mr Bukar, who represents Katsina North (Daura Zone) in the Senate, died in the early hours of Wednesday after a brief illness.

President Buhari Orders Investigation Into Damages Caused By Herdsmen/Farmers Clashes
