Manchester City were humbled by Liverpool in their UEFA Champion League  Quarterfinal 1st leg Fixtures as Mohamed Salah set in motion, what became a 3-0 trashing of Manchester City at Anfield, England.

City had a dominant start to the game, but one bad pass from Leroy Sané started a Liverpool counter-attack, and Mohamed Salah scored putting the reds ahead in the 12th minute of the game, even though City held on the the possession like their birthright.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain sensational strike into the top corner, 8 minute after the first goal put the red ahead of the struggle City side.

Sadio Mané sealed the victory for Liverpool in the 31th minute of the game.

Liverpool have, however, suffered a potentially massive injury blow, with Mohamed Salah limping out of the Reds’ Champions League quarter-final first-leg clash with Manchester City on Wednesday.

Salah was then replaced by Gini Wijnaldum and will now be a doubt for this weekend’s Merseyside derby and the second leg against City on April 10.
