Ogun Police Recover 3,445 Arms, Ammunition in 21 days

Ogun state Police command has recovered a total number of 3,445 arms and ammunition within 21 days. Naija News garthered

Briefing journalist at the police command alongside other suspects, Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Iliyasu explained that some law abiding citizens complied with the order, while other arms were recovered from criminal gangs across the state.

Naija News also learnt that some of the recovered items include 24 AK47 assault rifles, 66 pump action guns, more than one thousand single and double barrel guns, about one thousand one hundred rounds of 7.62mm ammunition, and one thousand two hundred rounds of live cartridges.

The Police Boss also paraded suspected cultists, fraudsters, car snatching syndicate amongst others. He stressed that the state would be uncomfortable for criminals to hibernate.
