Kogi Incoming Commissioner Of Police Reportedly Flees
The incoming commisioner of Police in Kogi state, Esa Sunday Ogbu, was no where to be found during handover today, Daily Post reports.

Acording to the News platform, the outgoing CP, Ali Jaga came to the state Command headquarters, Lokoja, as the in company of AIG of Police Zone 8, expecting to see the new CP.

According to the report, the new CP had earlier been threatened a day to his resumption.
The Kogi Governor, Bello, reportedly told him to leave the state.

The new CP, as a result of the intimidation, left for Abuja Thursday morning.

Naija News had earlier reported that the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Ibrahim Idris h ordered the immediate removal of the Kogi State Commissioner of Police (CP) Ali Janga over the escape of six suspects, including two principal suspects who indicted Senator Dino Malaye.

The new CP, Ogbu was Commissioner of Police, Federal Operations, Force Headquarters, Abuja before his posting to Kogi State.
