Platinum selling south African rapper and record producer, Cassper Nyovest has thrown major shade at Ghanaian super star Shatta Wale. He spoke with Giovanni Caleb in an interview on the Star Drive Monday Show. On the same show, he expressed his love for another Ghanaian artiste, Stonebwoy, labeling him the best dance-hall musician in Africa.

According to Cassper, the “Baafira” crooner is a great talent that makes enjoyable music any day.

“He is an amazing talent, my favorite and the best dance-hall artiste in Africa” he said.

When asked if he listens to Shatta Wale

He went further to describe Shatta Wale as a trouble maker, adding that he doesn’t even really know the guy. Ouch!

He says; “That guy is trouble, I have read a lot of crazy about him online but I don’t know his music“.

In December 2017, the rapper made headlines in the entertainment space after he filled up the 40, 000 seat capacity Orlando stadium in South Africa. He also had some words for African show organizers and other artistes.

“Show me love when I come to your country so I can show you love when one of yours come to mine. That is what we need in the industry. And that is how we can grow. We must welcome each other”
