President Buhari Reportedly Gave Dapchi Girls ₦5000 Each

The Federal Government has handed over the 104 Dapchi schoolgirls freed by Boko Haram to their parents.

The girls were released on Wednesday after spending more than one month with Boko Haram militants.

Five of the girls died while being ferried into captivity in February, while one still remains with the militants because she reportedly refused to convert to Islam.

President Muhammadu Buhari has said the Federal Government and Armed Forces will leave no stone un-turned to ensure Leah Sharibu is reunited with her parents.

The abductions had echoed the Chibok Girls kidnappings more than two years ago which caused global outrage and gave Boko Haram international notoriety.
