President Buhari Condoles Kaduna State Over The Death Of Bishop Bagobiri

President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed heartfelt condolences to the people of Kaduna State and the christian community at large over the passing away of the Bishop of Kafanchan Catholic Diocese, Most Rev. Joseph Danlami Bagobiri.

Bagobiri has since been buried on Thursday, Naija News learnt.

President Buhari, in his message, described the late Bishop as a committed christian who was interested in the well being of others and the development of his community.

“He fought injustice and all forms oppression. He helped the poor, established schools including a seminary described as one of the best in the country,” President Buhari noted in his condolence message which was made available to Naija News by Mr. Garba Shehu, senior special assistant to the President on media and publicity.

Late Bishop Bagobiri was born on November 8, 1957, ordained as priest in June 1983 and Bishop on October 21, 1995.

Bagobiri died in the early hours of Tuesday, 27th February, 2018 in Kaduna at the age of 61.
