List Of Teams That Have Qualified For The Europa League Quarter Finals

The second leg of the Europa league round of 16 games were concluded yesterday.

Eight teams have emerged from the round of 16 and would go into the draws for the quarter final draws which comes up later today at the UEFA headquarters in Switzerland.

Arsenal were brilliant over the two legs of their round of 16 clash against AC Milan, winning 5-1 on aggregate. A result that has gotten many of their fans dreaming about the Europa league trophy.

Unfortunately, German club, Borussia Dortmund couldn’t make it out of the last 16 stage as they could only manage a goalless draw against Red Bull Salzburg after loosing their first leg encounter by 2-1.

Naija News reports that; Arsenal, Atletico Madrid, Lazio, CSKA Moscow, Sporting Lisbon, Marseille, RB Leipzig, and Red Bull Salzburg are teams that have all qualified for the quarter final stage of the tournament.

The Europa League quarter-final draw would take place on Friday March 15 by 12:00(GMT) at the UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.

The Champions League quarter-final draws would have taken place an hour before the Europa League draws.
