Europa League Result: Arsenal Completes The Double Over AC Milan

The eight teams to make it through to the quarter final stage of the UEFA Europa league were determined yesterday with the conclusion of the second leg ties.
Arsenal cruised to the quarter final stage of the tournament with a 5-1 aggregate win over Italian giants, AC Milan.
Milan opened scoring on the night with a stunning long range strike from Calhanoglu in the 35th minute. Danny Welbeck however restored parity from the penalty spot four minutes later.
Granit Xhaka scored Arsenal’s second goal of the night in the 71st minute before Welbeck scored his second and Arsenal’s third of the night in the 86th minute.
In other games, Dortmund crashed out of the tournament as they could only manage a draw against Red Bull after loosing 2-1 in the first leg.
