Husband Allegedly Hacked Wife To Death In Enugu

Enugu Police Command has commenced full scale investigation into the event that led to the allegedly hacked of a mother of four to death by her husband on the 8th of march in Enugu city.

SP Ebere Amaraizu, The Public Relation Officer of the Enugu Police Command said the deceased, Mrs Nkechi Nnamani, was a mother of four children.

According to Punch, The PPRO said the Police were trying to unravel the circumstances surrounding the  incident; just as Nkechi’s body has been deposited in the mortuary.

“It was gathered that Nkechi was hale and hearty before her husband, Sunday Nnamani, allegedly hit her with an object on the head, which left her in a coma.

“Nkechi was consequently rushed to Parklane Specialist Hospital, Enugu, where she was confirmed dead by the doctor on duty,’’ he said.
