Be Self-Reliant and Law Abiding – Mrs Osinbajo Advices Wives Of Late Security Personnels

The Wife of the Vice President, Mrs Dolapo Osinbajo has advised wives of deceased security personnels to be economically self-reliant and be good parents to their children.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports, she gave the advice when wives of the deceased officers visited her as part of activities to commemorate the 2018 International Women`s Day in Abuja.

The women came under the umbrella of widows of defence officers association, which comprises of Nigerian Army Officers Wives Association, Nigerian Navy Officers Wives Officers, Police Officers Wives Association and the Nigerian Air force Officers Wives Association.

She promised to deliver their goodwill message to the wife of the president Aisha Buhari. She further advised them to be law abiding and good mothers to their children.

The wives of the deceased officers had promised to remained good mothers to their children for Nigeria to have future generation of good citizens.

Naija News recalls that the United Nations set aside March 8 of every year to mark the International women`s day.

Meanwhile the wife of the President, Aisha Buhari and other women have used the opportunity of the International Women’s Day to appeal to Boko Haram to leave their daughters alone.
