Rann Attack Claimed The Lives Of Four Policemen And Six Soldiers – Borno CP

The Commissioner for Police in Borno State has revealed that four policemen and six soldiers lost their lives in the Boko Haram attack in Rann community of Kala Balge Local Government Area of the state.

Mr. Damian Chukwu, The State Commissioner for Police made this known at a monthly police meeting in Maiduguri

According to punch, he confirmed that over 500 men had been deployed to Operation Lafiya Dole, and reiterated the commitment of the command to the successful implementation of the counter-insurgency campaign.

“In the recent attack in Kala Balge Local Government Area, four mobile policemen and some six soldiers were killed.

 “The police are part of the counter-insurgency campaign to restore peace and stability, and were deployed to various locations,” Chukwu said.

Meanwhile, Naija News brought to you notice that the United Nations Coordinating Office for Humanitarian Affairs stated that three of it staff were killed in the Rann Attack, while three others were injured. A nurse was also declared missing during the terrorists’ attack in Rann on March 1.
