Lagos Must Reverse Land Use Charge Within Seven Day – NBA

The Lagos State Government has been give a seven days ultimatum by the Ikeja Division of the Nigerian Bar Association, to reverse the recent hike in the Land Use Charged as introduced by the state Government.

In a statement, made available to Naija News on Wednesday, The Chairman of the Ikeja Division of the Nigerian Bar Association,  Mr. Adesina Ogunlana, the Association was embarking on a protest  tagged, “Hell Tax Must Go,” against the “Pharaoic tax regime.”

Ogunlana pointed out that the Assocaition is against the “excessive and arbitrary tax regime” introduced by the Lagos State Government.

He said the association would give Governor Akinwunmi Ambode till next Monday to retrace his steps on the LUC, failing which its members would hit the streets on Tuesday.
