Probe Saraki, Ekweremadu On Acquired £15million, And £4m London Homes-Buhari
President Muhammadu Buhari has reportedly written to the United Kingdom Serious Fraud Office(SFO) requesting that Senate President Bukola Saraki and Ike Ekweremadu, deputy senate president, be investigated. Sahara Reporters gathered
Naija News Learnt that the president inquired to know how the duo acquired pricey landed property in London worth of £15million, And £4m repectively . The report said the federal government has provided details of the lawmakers’ salaries and emoluments to the agency, saying the assets were not declared as required by law.
Naija News also learnt that Mr. Saraki, who was at various times governor of Kwara State and Special Assistant to former President Olusegun Obasanjo, is the owner of two London properties valued at about £15million are located at No. 7 and 8 Whittaker Street, Belgravia, London.
while, Mr.Ekweremadu, a former Secretary to the Government and Chief of Staff to the governor of Enugu state acquired a property worth £4 million . The property, which is located at Flat 4 Varsity Court, Homer Street, WIH, 4NW London and 52 Ayleston Avenue NW6 7AB, London, were acquired via fronts
