JUST IN: Buhari receives Liberian President, George Weah

President Muhammadu Buhari has received the recently inaugurated President of Liberia, George Weah, in his office at the Presidential Villa, Abuja. Mr. Weah’s motorcade arrived the forecourt of the president’s office at about 12:30 p.m.Naija News gathers

Weah, who is said to be on a “Thank You’’ visit to Nigeria,  was received by President Buhari at the presidential forecourt before the duo went into closed door meeting.

Monday’s visit is the first by Mr. Weah to Nigeria since he was elected president. He was sworn in as president on January 22 after defeating immediate past vice president Joseph Boakai of the Unity Party.
