The Nation reports that both the semi-finals and finals of the tournament will be played today.

Top Seed Omar Assar would face Congo Brazzaville’s Saheed Idowu in the semi-final face-off.

Naija News understand that, in the Women’s Singles competition, Dina Meshref, seeded no.1, plays Nigeria’s Offiong Edem at the semi-final stage, the no.4 seed, Cameroon’s Sarah Hanffou confronts Algeria’s Lynda Loghraibi.

However, the most recent two engagements have gone the way of Quadri Aruna; he succeeded at the 2015 African Games in Congo Brazzaville and at the 2016 African Championships in Agadir.
