Fela Durotoye, a renowned leadership coach, has declared that Nigerians have to support a new blood of political leaders to emerge during the 2019 general elections if the country is to make progress.

Durotoye declared his readiness to work with all credible Nigerians who are willing to serve the nation through elective legislative and executive offices especially in 2019 and beyond and charged Nigerians to obtain the permanent voters’ card to enable them determine their leaders in 2019.

He made this declaration on Wednesday when he took to his social media page to congratulate Kingsley Moghalu, a former deputy governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, who recently declared his intention to run for presidency in 2019.

“Hearty congratulations to Professor @MoghaluKingsley who recently declared his intention to run for the Office of President in the 2019 Elections.”

“I’m excited because my desire has always been that we would see a CRITICAL MASS of credible & capable Nigerians who would answer the clarion call to serve our nation through elective office (executive & legislative) especially in 2019 and beyond.”

“As many more credible candidates run for a New Nigeria, I look forward to collaborating with them in galvanizing our people to get their PVC’s and eventually voting the candidates of their choice in the next Elections.”

“This generation must step away from the old politics of rivalry, competition, character assassination etc.”

“Instead, our generation must embrace a new version of politics of collaboration and therefore encourage everyone who takes the bold step to offer themselves for true public service.”
