Yusuf Buhari, only son of President Muhammadu Buhari, reportedly returned to Nigeria on Monday after undergoing further treatment overseas in the aftermath of a motorbike accident in which he was involved last December.

In a report published by THISDAY, Yusuf Buhari arrived Nigeria Monday night and is in a better shape, ready to resume normal life activities.

The country where the young Buhari received further treatment could however, not be established as at press time.

Recall Yusuf Buhari was in December 2017, involved in a ghastly motorbike accident in Abuja while allegedly drag racing with his friend.

He was subsequently admitted at the Cedarcrest Hospitals, Abuja, under the close supervision of medical experts where he underwent a successful surgery to a head injury sustained in the accident.

As Yusuf’s health improved, Yusuf was subsequently certified stable and discharged from the clinic.

When contacted about Yusuf’s return, Special Adviser, Media and Publicity to the President, Mr. Femi Adesina, declined to comment on the issue, advocating a respect for Mr. Yusuf Buhari’s private life.

“The boy has a right to his private life. We can’t be talking about him and his movement,” Adesina said.

Meanwhile, Naija News recalls a recent rumour on the death of Yusuf Buhari was declared untrue by the presidency, with Lauretta Onochie, presidential aide on social media debunking the death rumours and confirming Yusuf is strong, alive and healthy.
