The Nigerian Government has said that security operatives and other stakeholders are to get an update on the search for the missing girls of the Government Science and Technical Girls College, Dapchi, Yobe State.
The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed disclosed this in a statement on Sunday in Damaturu released by his Special Adviser on Media, Segun Adeyemi.
Mr. Mohammed and the Minister of Interior, Abdulrahman Dambazau, and other federal government delegation arrived Damaturu on Sunday at about 12:30pm and went straight to the government house.
According to the minister, the delegation would meet with state government officials and the principal of the school to know the update on the missing school girls.
He noted that it was the second time in four days that a federal government delegation would visit Yobe over the missing Dapchi girls.
The fedral government on Sunday revealed that 110 school girls were missing after suspected Boko Haram insurgent attacked the school last Monday.
