Black Panther has gotten the attention of many in the country and abroad, the movie which has broken many records in the world and has gotten a respect for itself, but Naijanews reveals  other movies which also makes the top ten list. check the list below and details about it.

1. Black Panther

Black Panther is a 2018 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, it is the eighteenth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

The film is directed by Ryan Coogler, who co-wrote the screenplay with Joe Robert Cole, and stars Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa / Black Panther, alongside Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, and Andy Serkis. In Black Panther, T’Challa returns home as king of Wakanda but finds his sovereignty challenged by a long-time adversary, in a conflict with global consequences.

2. Dealpool 2

The Untitled Deadpool Sequel, also known as Deadpool 2, is an upcoming American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Deadpool, distributed by 20th Century Fox.

It is intended to be the eleventh installment in the X-Men film series, and a sequel to the 2016 film Deadpool. The film is being directed by David Leitch from a script by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, with Ryan Reynolds starring in the title role alongside Morena Baccarin, T.J. Miller, Leslie Uggams, Brianna Hildebrand, Stefan Kapičić, Zazie Beetz, Josh Brolin, and Jack Kesy.

Plans for a sequel to Deadpool began before that film’s release, and were confirmed in February 2016. Though the original creative team of Reynolds, Reese, Wernick, and director Tim Miller were quickly set to return for the second film, Miller left the project in October 2016 due to creative differences with Reynolds, and was soon replaced by Leitch.

Drew Goddard had also been in contention to direct, and joined the film to consult on the script in early 2017. An extensive casting search to fill the role of Cable took place, with Brolin ultimately cast in the role. Filming took place in British Columbia, Canada, from June to October 2017. During filming, stunt woman Joi “SJ” Harris died in a motorcycle accident.

3.  A Wrinkle in Time

A Wrinkle in Time is an upcoming American science fantasy adventure film directed by Ava DuVernay from a screenplay by Jennifer Lee, based on the 1962 novel of the same name by Madeleine L’Engle.

The film stars Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon, Mindy Kaling, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Michael Peña, Storm Reid, Zach Galifianakis, and Chris Pine, and follows a young girl who sets off on a quest, with the help of three astral travelers, to find her father, who went missing after discovering a new planet. Principal photography on the film began on November 2, 2016, in Los Angeles, California.

The film is scheduled to be released by Walt Disney Pictures on March 9, 2018, in Disney Digital 3-D, Real D 3D and IMAX 3D.

4. Annihilation

Annihilation is a 2018 science fiction horror film written and directed by Alex Garland, based on the novel of the same name by Jeff VanderMeer. The film stars Natalie Portman, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Gina Rodriguez, Tessa Thompson, Tuva Novotny, and Oscar Isaac, and follows a group of military scientists who enter “The Shimmer,” a mysterious quarantined zone that is full of mutating landscapes and creatures.

The film was released in the United States by Paramount Pictures on February 23, 2018, and is scheduled to be released in other markets on March 12, 2018 by Netflix. The film received largely positive reviews from critics, with praise for its visuals, performances, direction, and thought-provoking story.

5. Avengers: Infinity War

Avengers: Infinity War is an upcoming American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics superhero team the Avengers, produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.

It is intended to be the sequel to 2012’s Marvel’s The Avengers and 2015’s Avengers: Age of Ultron and the nineteenth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, with a screenplay by the writing team of Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, and features an ensemble cast with many actors from previous MCU films.

In Avengers: Infinity War, the Avengers join forces with the Guardians of the Galaxy to stop Thanos, who is trying to collect the Infinity Stones.

6. Solo: Star War

Solo: A Star Wars Story, or simply Solo, is an upcoming American space western film centered on Han Solo, a character from the Star Wars franchise. The film is being produced by Lucasfilm from a screenplay by Lawrence and Jon Kasdan, and will be distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.

The film will be the second Star Wars anthology film, following the 2016 film Rogue One. A stand-alone installment, set prior to the events of the original 1977 film, it explores the adventures of a young Han Solo and Chewbacca, including meeting Lando Calrissian.

The film stars Alden Ehrenreich as Solo, alongside Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke, Donald Glover, Thandie Newton, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Joonas Suotamo, and Paul Bettany.

7. Red Sparrow

Red Sparrow is a 2018 American spy film directed by Francis Lawrence and written by Justin Haythe, based on the 2013 novel of the same name by Jason Matthews.

The film stars an ensemble cast made up of Jennifer Lawrence, Joel Edgerton, Matthias Schoenaerts, Charlotte Rampling, Mary-Louise Parker, and Jeremy Irons. It tells the story of a Russian intelligence officer who is sent to make contact with a CIA agent and possible mole.

The film premiered at Newseum in Washington, DC on February 15, 2018, and is scheduled to be released in the United States on March 2, 2018.[2] It received mixed-to-positive reviews from critics.

8. Ready Player One

Ready Player One is an upcoming American science fiction action film produced and directed by Steven Spielberg and written by Zak Penn and Ernest Cline, based on Cline’s 2011 novel of the same name. The film stars Tye Sheridan, Olivia Cooke, Ben Mendelsohn, T. J. Miller, Simon Pegg, and Mark Rylance.

Set in a near-future dystopian Earth, the population spends most of its time in an interconnected virtual space called the OASIS. When the founder of OASIS dies and bequeaths ownership of OASIS to the first person to find a hidden treasure within OASIS by playing games and solving puzzles, a race ensues between a young man and his friends, and a large corporate entity that wants to control OASIS for themselves.

The film is scheduled to be released by Warner Bros. in the United States on March 29, 2018.

9. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is an upcoming American science fiction adventure film directed by J. A. Bayona. The film is a sequel to Jurassic World (2015) and is the fifth installment of the Jurassic Park film series, as well as the second installment of a planned Jurassic World trilogy.

The film features Derek Connolly and Jurassic World director Colin Trevorrow both returning as writers, with Trevorrow and original Jurassic Park director Steven Spielberg acting as executive producers. The film is set on the fictional island of Isla Nublar, located off Central America’s Pacific Coast. Filming took place from February to July 2017 in England and Hawaii.

Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, and B. D. Wong will reprise their roles from the previous film, with James Cromwell, Ted Levine, Justice Smith, Geraldine Chaplin, Daniella Pineda, Toby Jones, Rafe Spall, and Isabella Sermon joining the cast. Jeff Goldblum will reprise his role as Dr. Ian Malcolm from the original film and its 1997 sequel.

Universal Pictures has scheduled the film to be released in the United States on June 22, 2018. A sequel is set to be released on June 11, 2021.

10. Incredibles 2

Incredibles 2 is an upcoming American 3D computer-animated superhero film, and is the sequel to the 2004 film The Incredibles. It is in production by Pixar Animation Studios, and will be released by Walt Disney Pictures. It is being written and directed by Brad Bird, the writer and director of the first film, and features Craig T. Nelson, Holly Hunter, Sarah Vowell, Samuel L. Jackson, John Ratzenberger, and Bird all reprising their roles from the first film. The film also features the new voices of Huck Milner, Bob Odenkirk, Catherine Keener, Sophia Bush, Jonathan Banks, and Isabella Rossellini.

The film is scheduled to be released on June 15, 2018, and will be given an IMAX release.
