Former Minister of Avaition, Femi Fani-Kayode, has sarcastically mocked the Federal Government.

Fani-Kayode’s mockery comes after the release of conflicting reports by the Federal Government, over the supposed abduction and rescue of the missing Yobe State school girls.

Naija News recalls that on Monday,  suspected Boko Haram insurgents had invaded the Government Girls Science and Technical Secondary School in Dapchi, Yobe state, resulting in the whereabouts of 94 of the students being unaccounted for. Few days later, the Nigerian military came up with a report that some of the abducted Yobe schoolgirls have been rescued.

However, governor of the state, Ibrahim Geidam, yesterday dismissed his initial assertion, where he had earlier stated that some of the girls had been rescued, saying he got a wrong report and the young girls were still missing.

In reaction to the conflicting reports, Fani-Kayode questioned the type of government in place in Nigeria.

The former minister expressed wonderment via his Twitter handle, saying:

“No girls were kidnapped!

“Sorry we lied!

“ALL the girls have been rescued!

“Sorry we lied!

“SOME of the girls have been rescued!

“Sorry we lied!”

“WHAT A GOVERNMENT!”
