Black Panther is a 2018 American superhero film that has broken bounds and has gotten a lot of attention for itself both in African countries and Abroad.

Black Panter is produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, it is the eighteenth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). It is directed by Ryan Coogler, written by Coogler and Joe Robert Cole, and stars Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa / Black Panther, alongside Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, and Andy Serkis.

The story line behind Black Panther has it that T’Challa returns home as king of Wakanda but finds his sovereignty challenged by a long-time adversary, in a conflict with global consequences.

Black Panther had it first official announcement in October 2014, with Boseman first appearing in the role in Captain America: Civil War. By the end of 2015, Cole and Coogler had both joined, and additional cast members came on board beginning in May 2016, making it the first Marvel film with a predominantly black cast.

The movie was released on January 29, 2018 at the (Dolby Theatre) and at United States on the 16th of February 2018. The movie has the length of one hour, twenty minute view.

Critics considered it as one of the best films set in the MCU and noted its cultural significance. It has grossed over $426 million worldwide, and its four-day opening weekend gross of just under $242 million in the United States was the second-highest of all time.

Its three-day gross of $202 million was the fifth-highest of all-time and also set the record for biggest debut by an African American director.
