Champions League: Chelsea Welcome Messi To Stamford Bridge

The concluding round of games in the Champions League round of 16 first leg fixtures takes center stage as from this evening.

As Chelsea prepare to host Spanish giants, Barcelona, focus will be on Barca’s talismanic attacker, Lionel Messi who is still searching for his first goal against Chelsea in eight Champions League appearances.

Likewise, Chelsea would be counting on support from their fans at Stamford Bridge to ensure they  emerge victorious ahead of the second leg tie in Spain.

For Bayern, they look rejuvenated after Jup Heynckes replaced Ancelotti, with the team going on to win 22 out of 23 games in all competitions under the veteran coach.
