Nigeria Police Force will recruits additional six thousand officers and men to curtail the incessant killings, kidnapping and other criminality in the country.

Inspector General of Police Ibrahim Idris has announced this in Gusau after his visit to Birane community which was recently attacked by armed bandits in Zamfara state.

He said more police personnel will be deployed to the area to bring to book the perpetrators of such acts.
