NCC Warns The Public Against Illegal Use of GSM Boosters

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), has warned the public against the illegal use of GSM boosters.

It warned that the boosters can interfere with other radio frequency equipment and users or interested users can only use the device in conjunction with licensed network operators.

The commission, in a statement signed by its director of public affairs, Tony Ojobo warned that the commission would not hesitate to prosecute those found violating the law on the use of the GSM boosters.
