Nigerian singer, Wizkid in a post that was made online has revealed that he was born broke, but he will not die been broke, but will die very “wealthy”.

Wizkid of lastest in the ratings of richest artists in Africa was listed as the 7th Richest Artiste in Africa, the singer made the statement via his Twitter handle and he wrote: “Born Broke, Die wealthy”.

Wizkid who has a large number of fans and well appreciated by music lovers comes from a large family of six and he is the last of six children. Wizkid kicked off his singing career at the age 11, he sang in his church’s choir and released a 7 track album entitled “Lil Prinz”.

Wizkid’s first song featured one of Nigeria’s celebrated musical icon, OJB Jezreel. M,in 2006 the singer had a collaboration with Naeto C and Ikechukwu prior to rising to stardom.

In 2009, Wizkid became a household name within Nigeria’s musical landscape, he was featured on M.I’s “Fast Money, Fast Cars”, and Kel’s “Turn by Turn”.
